Audi MIB2/Porsche PCM 4, 4.1/ Volkswagen Front & Rear View Camera Interface

This interface allows you to add rear and front cameras to the OEM monitor of select Audi group cars with MIB2, Porsche cars with PCM 4.0 or PCM 4.1 and Volkswagen vehicles with composition Media or Discover Pro systems.

It adds active parking lines and integrates with the cars parking sensors to provide a visual parking display.

No special coding is needed as the interface integrates with the LVDS cable behind the vehicle head unit. The rear camera will activate as soon as reverse gear is engaged.

The front camera will only activate if reverse gear is selected and then immediately afterwards drive forward gear is selected.

The interface has a feature to allow manual activation of the front camera, this is done by pressing and holding the VOICE button on the steering wheel, this feature also allows the front camera input to be used as a general video input for DVD and other video devices.
